Black Effect Gallery is an independent, Black/Italian-owned contemporary art gallery based in Torino, Italy specializing in Black artistic practice from Africa and the African diaspora.

 Our mission is to showcase the wide diversity of Black perspectives, cultures, histories, and current realities through various art mediums. It is important for us to provide a space where artists can express themselves authentically. We do not believe in obscuring differences but rather in celebrating different cultures, experiences, and identities while also exploring universal human truths.

We hope that the exhibits and special programming we produce can spark dialogue and curiosity. Art is something that everyone can enjoy and we welcome experienced collectors, new collectors, aspiring collectors and those who want to learn more about what is means to collect art. We also welcome art enthusiasts and curious people to come, see, and experience. One of our primary goals is to create a welcoming and truly inclusive environment.
